LogiMAT 2023: ROCKETSOLUTION Showcases Its Latest Solutions with the ROCKET Shuttle System

Unterhaching, February 21, 2023 – ROCKETSOLUTION Highlights Its Innovative RSX1 Shuttle System at LogiMAT 2023

At this year’s LogiMAT, ROCKETSOLUTION is showcasing its innovative RSX1 shuttle system. The highly robust small parts warehouse system, designed for loads up to 50 kilograms, offers maximum storage density with minimal susceptibility to faults. It is easily scalable and can be seamlessly integrated. With its flagship product, RSX1, ROCKETSOLUTION continues on a strong growth trajectory. Currently, eight projects are being rolled out in companies across Automotive, Retail, Industry, Fashion, and Third-Party Logistics. ROCKETSOLUTION can be found in Hall 1, Booth A35.

Whether for a distribution center, decentralized buffer storage, urban micro-fulfillment center, or production automation, the RSX1 shuttle system allows small parts warehouses to be automated efficiently. It provides maximum storage density while delivering high system performance. Compared with conventional shuttle systems, the RSX1 reduces the required space by more than half and significantly improves efficiency and profitability. It can store up to six times higher than height-limited cube systems.

“Currently, eight systems are either under construction or already in live operation across different industries. From fully scaled high-performance RSX1 systems to ultra-flexible roaming systems, both variants of our system are in use,” says André Nowinski, Managing Director of ROCKETSOLUTION.
The company, active on the market since March 2021, collaborates with partners in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Netherlands, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.
“The number of integration and distribution partners has now grown to nine,” adds Florian Vent, Founder and Managing Director of ROCKETSOLUTION.

The RSX1 system can perform up to 1,500 picks and puts per hour per aisle. Thanks to its standard quadruple-deep storage, it requires significantly less floor space while maintaining performance. Its ultra-compact design allows the halving of standard aisle widths. Intelligent container placement, space-saving lift transfers without additional in-rack conveyor technology, and smart maintenance access further reduce unused warehouse space.

Flexible storage depths and variably installed lifts allow adaptation to challenging structural and spatial conditions.

A novel load-handling device, which lifts containers in and out of the racks rather than pushing them, ensures particularly safe and precise handling of rack-guided containers. This adds process reliability (eliminating “dancing totes”) and ensures consistent system availability.

By design, the RSX1 operates efficiently with container heights starting at just 100 millimeters and can store up to 30 meters high. On the same footprint, it offers up to 100% more storage capacity than conventional shuttle systems. As a result, companies benefit from reduced operating costs and an improved ecological footprint when deploying an RSX1 system.
