Rocket-Like Start: ROCKETSOLUTION Successfully on the Market for One Year
9 March 2022
Unterhaching, March 9, 2022 – One year after the market launch of the shuttle system RSX1, ROCKETSOLUTION GmbH looks back on a thoroughly positive balance sheet and is highly satisfied with its business development. The logistics start-up fully achieved its ambitious goals for 2021. Demand for the highly standardized, particularly space-efficient RSX1 shuttle systems exceeded all expectations. The logistics expert was also able to win several customer projects in the automotive sector. With three sites in Unterhaching, Forchheim, and Wächtersbach, the young company tripled its workforce in 2021. By the end of 2022, this figure is expected to double again.
With the product launch of its flagship RSX1, ROCKETSOLUTION went public on March 9, 2021. The launch event was originally planned for LogiMAT 2021, the largest and most important trade fair for intralogistics. Due to the cancellation of the fair and strict lockdown measures, ROCKETSOLUTION organized its own online event. The digital format proved successful in every respect and turned out to be a great success. Since then, ROCKETSOLUTION has been on a steady growth path.
“Through our broad network, we were able to achieve remarkable reach, bring strong partners on board, and secure our first projects in three different countries. At such an early stage, we did not expect such a rapid pace of project commitments and decisions.”
Florian Vent, Founder and Managing Director of ROCKETSOLUTION
ROCKETSOLUTION goes Europe and Automotive
In collaboration with four integration partners, ROCKETSOLUTION is currently implementing six projects in three countries. These projects comprise a total of 220,000 storage locations and several hundred shuttles. The partner network is continuously expanding and currently includes eight integration and distribution partners across Europe. Companies from various industries, including third-party logistics, fashion, industry, and automotive, have embraced the new shuttle technology.
“We consider orders from the automotive sector a particular success. We are excited to make warehousing in this industry more efficient in the future.”
André Nowinski, Managing Director of ROCKETSOLUTION
Challenges Mastered with Flying Colors
In manufacturing, ROCKETSOLUTION works with numerous local and regional suppliers and production sites. The technology company develops and produces all components at its German locations. Combined with the high standardization of the RSX1, this makes it possible to handle the current shortage of raw materials and related supply bottlenecks effectively.
“We can implement existing and future projects promptly and deliver our products quickly.”
Florian Vent, Founder and Managing Director of ROCKETSOLUTION
“The great success of the past year is largely due to our team. It’s simply incredible how everyone has consistently outdone themselves, contributed to every single project, and committed wholeheartedly – all in a fast-changing environment with one or two unforeseen and tricky challenges along the way.”
André Nowinski, Managing Director of ROCKETSOLUTION
Full Steam Ahead
The course is set: the focus is on successfully completing all ongoing projects and acquiring and implementing new, exciting customer projects. As an independent technology manufacturer, ROCKETSOLUTION aims to further strengthen the market position of the RSX1 shuttle system and continue expanding its partner network.
“We are also sticking to our medium-term plan for a global roll-out.”

Key Features of the RSX1
The RSX1 shuttle system, developed by ROCKETSOLUTION, essentially consists of a capacity-optimized rack, robust shuttle vehicles, flexible lifts, and a smart software suite. The high-density small parts storage system for loads of up to 50 kilograms stands out for maximum storage density, high scalability, low susceptibility to faults, and ease of integration. Compared to conventional automated systems, RSX1 significantly reduces the required space and increases efficiency and profitability in small parts warehousing.
